⚠️ FAKE DCS SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT BROCHURE SCAM

Scammers are once again impersonating the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) — this time by circulating bogus "supply chain management" brochures targeting procurement and logistics professionals.

The message may come from a real-looking email like Ussiel.Abersalie@dcs.gov.za, but asks you to reply to Maurice.Mgedezi@dcs.gov.zaa fraudulent domain not linked to any official government entity.

  1. You are emailed an unsolicited invitation to participate in a "project."

  2. You are sent a brochure or requested to pay for a “training package” or tender document fee.

  3. You’re either asked to pay upfront or submit company documents for fake verification.

  4. You lose money or sensitive company data.
